The Ember Crown is the flagship set within In Season: The Feather Garden.
This handcrafted feather hatband and removable medallion are composed of iridescent rooster pheasant neck feathers layered in a repeating rhythm of rust, emerald, and goldenrod tones. Each feather shifts in the light, revealing subtle variations of color depending on how it is worn.
The medallion is meticulously constructed from dozens of the smallest pheasant feathers, creating a full, dimensional form reminiscent of a blooming dahlia. This piece required an exceptional number of feathers and hours of detailed hand placement, making it the most intricate piece in the collection.
The medallion attaches with a discreet magnetic backing, allowing it to be worn at the front of the hat, moved to the side, or removed entirely for a more minimal look.
Each feather is naturally sourced from wild birds, meaning no two pieces can ever be replicated exactly.
